Roomy Remedies Easy Homemade Hazelnut Spread


  • 2 cups of raw hazelnuts
  • 3 tablespoons sweetener of your choice (agave, honey, sugar, allulose etc)
  • 2 tablespoons of cocoa powder
  • ¼ cup of Sea Moss Gel


  1. Preheat your oven to 350 F 
  2. Line a pan with hazelnuts in a single layer and toast for 12-15 minutes
  3. Once toasted, allow the hazelnuts to cool completely then transfer to a large dish towel.
  4. Using one hand, press and shake the hazelnuts together roughly to remove the skins, this should take about 3-4 minutes. 
  5. Place the skinned hazelnuts into a high-speed blender or food processor. 
  6. Blend for 4-5 minutes until a flour-like consistency remains, if your blender is having trouble, this can be a good time to add the sea moss gel. 
  7. Once the hazelnuts become smooth and creamy, add in cocoa powder and sweetener and combine until smooth
