Roomy Remedies Hawaiian Style Chex Mix with Sea Moss Gel

Ingredients (two batches):

  • 1 box of Rice Chex
  • 1 box of Corn or Wheat Chex
  • 1 box of Honeycomb Cereal
  • 1 bag of Bugels
  • 1 bag of Pretzels (whatever shape you prefer)
  • 2 sticks of butter 
  • ¾ cup of White Sugar (or sweetener of choice)
  • ¾ cup of Honey
  • ⅔ cup of Avocado Oil
  • Bottle of Furikake (up to you how much you like)


  1. Preheat your oven to 250℉
  2. Evenly divide your cereal, chips and pretzels into 2 large tins and stir them to combine
  3. In a saucepan, melt butter, sugar and honey together. Once the butter is melted and these ingredients are combined, turn off the heat and add in the oil and soy sauce.
  4. Divide the sauce evenly between the two trays and stir as you go so the cereal mixture is evenly coated
  5. Put the trays in the oven, stirring every 15 minutes until the cereal feels dry to the touch (usually about 1 hour and 15 minutes)
